The Little Sunshin Project started in 2000 when Sudehpa Tham started going to Nepal to help the improverished children living in Nepal and in Calcutta, India.  Currently the Project has four permanent members who support the Educational Fund of the project which helps 250 children every year.  The Sunshine Project is always looking for more professionals to share their skills to help the children of the villages they visit in Nepal and Calcutta.   Some of their recent projects include providing textbooks and setting up a library in the village of Nagarkot in Nepal.  Volunteers over the years have included students, doctors, art therapists and professionals.   Volunteers travel approximately every six months to work with the children, teachers and families with healthcare, building self-awareness and self-esteem and inner-resourcefulness. The volunteers include mental health practitioners, doctors and educators to work with us in our endeavor to improve the quality of life for the children - the future - of Nepal and Calcutta.  We are currently expanding our scope to include working with the homeless street children in the many villages we hope to expand our services to.   Sudehapa Tham's background includes: Health Consultant She has taught yoga full-time since 1998.  She focuses on self-awareness, increased flexibility and strength.
